Shannon M. Duffey

Shannon M. Duffey, 31, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at her home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Connie (Keefer) Lantz and Kirk Duffey. 

She is survived by her beautiful, and love of her life, daughter, Amira; her step-father, Robert Lantz; a brother, Ryan (Cristina) Duffey; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Sally Keefer, of LeMoyne; and her loving dog, Jackson.

Shannon was a 2010 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School and a later graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York.

She worked several years as manager for Target.

She studied the art of dance with Sigel’s School of Dance, for many years, including instructing. Shannon was also passionate about art and drawing.

Friends will be received from 2pm to 5pm Tuesday, October 10, 2023 in the Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534-4th St. Altoona, where a funeral service will follow the visitation at 5pm, officiated by Pastor John Gray of Hope Community Church.
